1. The operator and how to contact us

SlabRaffle is the trading name used for this independent collector website at www.slabraffle.com. For enquiries, including entry problems, complaints and requests about your data, email info@slabraffle.com. The responsible legal operator's full identity, registered or business address, registration particulars and any required licensing information will be displayed before paid competitions start. We do not claim a licence or exemption while the business model is undergoing legal assessment.

2. Scope of these terms

These terms describe the intended general framework for SlabRaffle competitions. The published page for each competition must also identify its particular prize, photographs, certification, price, available entry numbers, maximum per entrant, qualifying question, opening and closing times and any additional conditions. Where mandatory consumer law applies, it prevails over any conflicting wording here.

3. Eligibility and accounts

The intended audience is adult collectors in the territories legally approved for a particular competition. Before paid launch, the operator must confirm age thresholds, permitted countries, identity/residency checks and any excluded participants. A visitor must not assume eligibility simply because an account can be created. Entrants will be required to use accurate personal contact details, keep access to their account secure and satisfy any identity, age and residence checks lawfully required before receiving a prize. Employees and connected persons may be excluded under final published eligibility rules.

4. Competition type and regulatory status

SlabRaffle's intended format asks an entrant to answer a qualifying question before the entry proceeds. Eligible confirmed entry numbers then participate in a recorded random draw. A correct question answer or a postal alternative does not by itself establish that a paid competition is outside Irish gambling or lottery regulation. The operator will obtain advice on the Gambling Regulation Act 2024, its commenced provisions, any required permissions, UK participation and the role of the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland before accepting paid entries.

5. Paid entry process

The website shows the entry price in euro, entry-number limit and closing deadline. A visitor chooses a quantity, provides their contact name, acknowledges the public draw-name disclosure and answers the published question. A wrong answer does not proceed to checkout. Selecting entries or beginning payment does not guarantee allocation. The website uses Stripe-hosted payment processing in its testing environment only; live checkout is disabled pending payment-provider approval and a separately authorised release.

When an eligible paid entry is eventually offered, entry numbers will count only after successful and reconciled payment, the competition's capacity and entry limits being satisfied, and the entry being recorded as eligible. Payment attempts marked pending, expired, cancelled, refunded or requiring review are not eligible for the draw. Entrants will be able to review confirmed numbers in My Entries.

6. No-purchase entry route

The intended route for eligible free entries is explained in Free Entry Information. It will not be operational until a real postal address, response/question requirements, receipt deadlines, number limits and verification procedures have been finalised and published. There is no current instruction to mail any item to SlabRaffle. Once legally approved, valid free entries must be reconciled with the same eligible-number pool and have the same chance per valid number as paid entries.

7. Closing, allocation and the draw

Published closing times and the maximum entry capacity govern availability. A competition stops accepting new entries at the published deadline or when full, whichever occurs first. Before the winner is selected, the operator must reconcile unsettled payments and accepted free entries, freeze an eligible entry list and check that excluded or refunded numbers are not included. The planned draw selects a winning entry number from the eligible pool and records the outcome. The public results page is designed to show the winner number, eligible-entry list, snapshot hash and livestream recording. The exact random-selection mechanism, oversight and draw timetable require final approval and documented testing.

8. Public draw names

At entry, the website shows the draw name that would appear beside the person's eligible number(s) in a public entry-list CSV and possibly during a livestream and permanent recording. The default is first name with surname initial; a person can expressly select their full contact name. Email addresses, payment details and postal addresses are not included in the public list. Names and entry numbers may still be personal data. The lawful basis, notice to postal entrants, retention period and process for privacy objections will be settled before any real public-name draw is held; see our Privacy Notice.

9. Prize description, ownership and delivery

Each competition must identify the actual graded collectible, grading company, grade, certification number, condition and prize photographs. The winner would receive the stated prize, subject to the final prize-claim and verification procedure. No cash substitution, shipping charge, customs fee or tax allocation should be assumed unless disclosed in the competition-specific conditions. Delivery countries, delivery deadlines, damaged or lost parcels, unavailable prizes and unsuccessful contact attempts must be addressed in the final approved conditions.

10. Refunds, disputes and cancellation

An unsuccessful or cancelled checkout is not a confirmed paid entry. Any processed payment which cannot be safely linked to a valid eligible entry must be reconciled, investigated and refunded where appropriate. If a competition is cancelled, participants must receive clear notice and the appropriate refund or other remedy required by the final rules and law. Competition cancellation, postponement, insufficient sales, system errors, mistaken answers, disputes, chargebacks and prize unavailability require documented procedures. Nothing here excludes mandatory Irish/UK consumer rights, statutory remedies or chargeback rights.

11. Winner notification and claims

The planned system sends notifications using the contact email associated with the confirmed entry and publishes results in the Winners archive. Before live use, the operator must establish and publish a specific notification timetable, claim deadline, verification process, treatment of uncontactable winners and prize dispatch arrangements. SlabRaffle will not request full payment-card details as a condition of releasing a prize.

12. Fair conduct, errors and account security

One person must not impersonate others, exploit technical flaws, submit false identity information or attempt to manipulate the qualifying question, entries or draw. Suspicious entries may be placed on hold for reasonable verification, with decisions and any remedies documented. A technical outage does not automatically mean a reservation, successful payment or eligible entry was created. Complaints can be sent to info@slabraffle.com.

13. Collector community and content

Collector Hub and community information is provided for general education, not as investment or grading guarantees. Community members must not harass people, impersonate others, publish private details or solicit off-platform payments. Moderators review submissions and may restrict content that breaches applicable rules. Users retain responsibility for content they submit and must have permission to share it. SlabRaffle is independent of Pokémon and grading companies.

14. SR Tokens

The account dashboard may show a provisional non-redeemable loyalty counter of one SR Token per full euro of cumulative confirmed paid competition entry spend, excluding fully refunded orders. SR Tokens have no cash value and cannot presently be bought, transferred, exchanged, redeemed or used for additional entries, odds or prizes. Any future rewards programme requires its own approved rules and payment/refund reconciliation.

15. Changes, disputes and applicable law

Any final version of these terms should be date-stamped before live launch. Material changes to an already open competition must be justified, recorded, communicated and consistent with law; they must not retrospectively strip entrants of statutory rights. The legal operator must establish the applicable jurisdiction, complaint process, consumer remedies and regulator disclosures with qualified advisers before launch.

16. Contact and linked policies

For assistance email info@slabraffle.com. Read our Privacy Notice, Cookie Policy and Free Entry Information. No live paid entries should be taken before these arrangements and the regulatory/payment-provider requirements are approved.
